2024 – Carmen Torres (University of Jaen) gave an invited talk on “Brain mechanisms underlying frustration: lessons from animal models,” Association of Interventional Psychologist Conference, Kalady, India.

2024 – Thomas A. Green (University of Texas Medical Branch), received the Sporar Award for Explorations into Etiology of Addiction Risk Behaviors to honor findings made by his NIDA-funded project “Frustration effects on drug taking” (Grant ID: R01-DA060221).

2024 – Marta Sabariego (Mount Holyoak College) was granted tenure.

2024 – Wan-Ling Tseng (Yale School of Medicine), received an NIH Director’s New Innovator Award (Grant ID: DP2-MH140132), for her project “Multi-level mechanisms and predictors of irritability: An innovative approach bridging laboratory and real-world measures.”

2024 – Ron Yu will move to Case Western Reserve University as Chair of Neuroscience (ron.yu@case.edu).

2023 – Mauricio R. Papini (Texas Christian University) received the D. O. Hebb Distinguished Scientific Contributions Award, American Psychological Association, Division 6 Society for Behavioral Neuroscience and Comparative Psychology, Washington DC.

2022 – Carmen Torres (University of Jaen) received a grant from Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Spain, for research on “Frustration induced by reward loss: Identification of the functional connectome in the male and female rat brain.“
